he
newest staff member of the DeKalb (GA) Medical Center's
Recreational Therapy Department has four legs and a
great attitude. His morning is filled with appointments,

Cito
(above) is a purebred five-year-old German Shepherd therapy
dog, with an international passport. Iris Grimm
(above), who coordinates DeKalb Medical Center's animal
therapy program in Decatur, GA, says Cito and other therapy
dogs also have a profound emotional impact on recovering
patients.
