The Greater Atlanta String Institute sponsored
the first ever Strings Camp for elementary and middle
school students in the City Schools of Decatur (CSD)
from June 9 through June 13. The camp featured experiences
in orchestra, chamber music, non-traditional music
styles, coaching sessions, and guest clinicians.
On
Friday June 13th, the young musicians gave a concert
for family and friends at Clairemont Elementary
School.
